BMW Inspection I

The BMW Inspection I Service is the smaller of the two inspection services recommended by BMW. It includes basic wear items such as engine oil and filter, engine air filter, cabin air filter or filters and a full inspection and lube of the vehicle. Other makes and models can also utilize this maintenance program to ensure a pleasant drive and ownership, but make sure your mechanic says it is OK first.

The inspection I service costs in the range of $300+ to $400+ depending on the vehicle and optional equipment. Repair costs are not included in the inspection cost, so be prepared to spend more if repairs are needed. The inspection services are great do-it-yourself projects, but a trained eye is recommended for the actual inspection portion of the service. The items that are checked are listed below.
